Kingscliff parkrun

Kingscliff parkrun is a FREE weekly 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Kingscliff, NSW, Australia

parkrun (http://www.parkrun.com/) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the United Kingdom in 2004 to provide a free, weekly, timed 5km running event to every community that wants one.

There are now 150+ events around the world with more than 15,000 runners participating every Saturday morning.

The parkrun record is 14:00 set by Craig Mottram on 10 June, 2006.

Events are organised by local volunteers with support from parkrun.

Taking part is easy – just register online at www.parkrun.com.au in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun here. The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once! Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!
